This palette takes me straight back to nature. Just what I need in this busy, city life. Looking forward to the weekend (yay, it’s almost here) and I’ve got quite a busy one ahead of me.
What’s on your schedule? I hope it includes a trip to the woods. If it does, take me there with you in spirit?

I fell in love with this photo the moment I saw it. The vintage feel and lovely colors drew me in. The color palette screams autumn to me: shades of pink paired with cream and brown. Love.

The first day of fall welcomed us into the new season over the weekend. Even though the weather didn’t get the memo, I know I’m ready for cooler weather, apple picking and boots. What better way to welcome and celebrate a new season than with friends and family? Start planning your harvest gathering now, I know I am!

Summer is almost over, but there’s still time to heat up those grills and get cookin’!
Here’s a little summer cookout inspiration. We’ll start with the invites:

You’ve invited them with ice pops, so why don’t you greet them with ice pops too!

We’re taking a break from our regularly scheduled Thursday programming to show you something I’m really excited about. To be honest, I didn’t have a Doggy Diaries post ready for today, but I am still excited about Olioboard!
I heard about Olioboard on the Nate Berkus show the other day and just had to check it out.
It’s pretty awesome. It allows you to create moodboards for anything; dragging and dropping items from the pre-loaded library into your digital room. You can upload your own photos to your private library which will be saved in your account too. And you can even purchase some of your favorite items online from the pre-loaded library. It’s so much fun to play around with textures, colors and furniture!
They’ve just updated the background and texture galleries to include better and more options. The background from my design above was newly added and I love it! The rustic wood flooring, brick walls and industrial ceiling lights are awesome!
The board above is my first attempt to design an office. I love the neutral tones (of course) and industrial pieces paired with the modern chevron rug. Throw in some fresh flowers and maybe a couple bright, comfy floor pillows and you’ve got a great home office!
Check out Olioboard for yourself and have some fun designing! What rooms in your home would be the challenges to tackle with Olioboard?
We’re spending this week in Georgia with some family and close friends and it’s breathtakingly gorgeous. Lush greenery everywhere. Our cabin is on a lake with our own private dock, so awesome!
In the spirit of the south, here’s a little southern charm inspiration:

These are just a few things that remind me of the good ol’ South. What do you think of when you think of Southern hospitality?
