Nature. My paradise on earth.

I just can’t get enough of it and was getting an itch to explore, so last weekend hubs and I took the dog and set out.

We took the Ice House Canyon Trail up to the saddle and continued up to Cucamonga Peak. While the trek up was quite the climb, 4300′ elevation gain in about 6 miles (12 miles round trip), reaching the 8859′ peak was well worth the burn.

The beautiful weather I’m sure added to the crowds in the first section on this April Sunday afternoon, but once we headed up to the peak from the saddle, we were in near solitude much of the way. A leisurely nap awaited us at the top, a midst the amazing views.
